About Us

My photo
After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

4w6d (15dp5dt) - Symptoms

So my next beta won't be until NEXT Wednesday (7/22).  That's 1 week between beta #3 and beta #4.  I can wait 6 more days, right?    I'm tempted to go in sometime between now and then but it's not THAT far away, right?  I can do this, right?   I'm aiming for 4,500+ by then.

UPDATE:  My OB's office wants to do a sonogram next week!  I am happy to oblige them.  7/22 at 8:30, then beta #4 right after!   Now Wednesday for SURE can't get here soon enough!

UPDATE 2:  My RE emailed me and said she'd be okay with doing 1 more blood draw tomorrow and then after that only once a week.  So I'm going to do it.  So come on 1006 tomorrow!!!

Symptoms:

Middle of the night:  slept like a rock, maybe one kinda vivid dream.

Morning:  Nothing, no blood with tongue scraper, TSH blood draw barely bleed.

Mid morning:  Tiiiiiny cramps.   Thirst.

Afternoon: Nothing really.  Some pulling here and there.  Ugh.  Come on.

Evening:  Super tired during evening walk.  A full uterine pulls here and there.  TSB (tongue scraper blood), a good amount of blood after progesterone injection
