About Us

My photo
After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

6w0d - Veggie comparison, symptoms, and ultrasound pic obsession

My baby is the size of a lentil today!

And this is what she looks like (we hope!):

So my second ultrasound is 5 days away so of course to pass the time I am obsessing over my last sonogram's photos.  The tech said she didn't see a fetal pole, but I really think I see one.   What do you think?   I know, I'm obsessed and weird but it's all I have to pass the time!

5w5d - measuring 5w3d.... do you see a fetal pole?

Symptoms:
Middle of the night:  1 vivid dream (non sex, non baby), cramps after peeing
Morning:  Nothing other than TSB.
Mid morning:  Super duper bloated, small cramps.
Lunch:  Still bloated but doesn't feel as bad.   Dull cramps (also not as bad).
Afternoon:   Less bloated.  No cramps.   Tired.
Evening:  TSB

  1. Just a note to consider, your beta never got this high with the miscarriage in may. All signs pointing towards the fact that this is a very viable pregnancy. VERY exciting!!!

    1. Lauren, this is very true. I am very optimistic but until I see that heartbeat I'm a nervous wreck!
