About Us

My photo
After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

11dp5dt - Symptoms

Beta #2 is tomorrow!  72 hours from Beta #1.  We are shooting for anything over 351!!

POAS update: Haven't POASed since 8dp5dt!  Such self control!

Symptoms:

Middle of the night:  Insomnia.  Tiiiiiiiiiiny cramps after peeing.

Morning:  Nervous shits (sorry, TMI, but it's the truth - nervous for tomorrow's beta!)....actually, this probably isn't even a symptom.  Not veiny - kinda making me nervous.

Noon:  Headache.  Sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight cramps.    Sliiiiiiightly bloated.  Headache gone after eating and taking off hoodie.  Think I was too hot.   Sliiiiiiiiightly nauseous?

Afternoon:  Napped.  Woke up with sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight nausea and right side uterine pulls.   Bloated.

Early evening:  Slight (only one 'i' this time) nausea still.  Dull right sided uterine cramps.   Dull headache.  Cold feet.  Veiny chest/arms/boobs (seems to only come out in the evening and gone by morning).  Blood with tongue scraper.

Soooooooo nervous for tomorrow!
