About Us

My photo
After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

5w6d - Symptoms

Still can't believe this is happening.   I pray we see a heartbeat soon.  Our next ultrasound is next Wednesday (6 days away!) at 6w5d.   I measured 5w3d yesterday so we may measure 6w3d next week.  I just pray we see a heartbeat.   God is indeed good.  If you're a praying person, we are desperate for your prayers to be lifted up to Him to see this baby into our arms.   <3

Middle of the night:  Maybe a tiny cramp or two after I peed.  No vivid dreams.
Morning:  Fuller/achy boobs.  Only ached for about 20 minutes this morning but I'll take it!
Mid morning:  Maaaaaaybe I smell things more?   Left boob twinges.
Noon:  Pulling while walking.  Yellow CM.  Briefly tired after lunch - keyword: briefly.
Afternoon:  Nothing.
Evening:  Cramps, tired, TSB.

  1. Congratulations!!! I just read through you blog, I love that you are posting your symptoms! I am now 1dp5dt, after an FET. We also had a miscarriage in March, so I'm praying this little one takes! It's been a long year of trying to expand our family. We have twin boys who are about to turn four in Aug, from our first IVF :)

    1. Oh how exciting! The TWW is absolute torture. I pray you get your rainbow baby after what you had to endure in March. Congratulations on your twins!

    2. Thank you so much and thank you for stopping by my blog :) I will keep you and your little babe in prayer! xo
