About Us

My photo
After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

Beta #4 - 18dp6dt

Praise God!
It's a good number.  50 hour doubling.  Up from 39 hour doubling with Monday's number.

Here is the updated chart:

My gut is on a singleton.

The ultrasound is actually next week (Wednesday 3/16) at 6w0d!   I'm a little nervous about not seeing heartbeat(s) (last summer, our baby didn't have one yet at 5w5d, then it was detected at 6w5d).

Praying my butt off!!!

Betas so far:
14dpo = 136*
16dpo = 365
19dpo = 1292
23dpo = 4864

  1. Yay! The progression is so steady, it looks perfect! Congratulations!

    1. Thank you Destiny! We are cautiously optimistic about this baby!

  2. I am so happy for you Lauree! With such a strong beta I feel 6 weeks will not be too early to see the heartbeat(s). Yay :)

    1. Praying this bean sticks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. That's a great number! It's awesome to be that close to 48 hours when you are in the high thousands like that!!

    1. Oh good. I'm glad you girls think so! I was nervous at first!

  4. Allo!
    Im elated to have found you blog. I've been thinking about you and your family since I first stumbled on it 2 weeks ago.. It took me some courage to be able to write this first message, but I just feel so alone and needed to share that I'm in my 2ww wait too right now (6dp5dt FET, failed fresh this summer). I live in Germany away from our friends and family unfortunately, and I got my treatment in Czech, after my 1st failed one in Canada. I just feel so alone.

    Every day, your blog gives me hope! I have absolutely ZERO symptom (or when I think I do, I feel like it's all in my head!), and I am so scared..

    Im sending strength, love and courage your way Xx

    1. Good luck to you!! The 2ww is torturous! Will you test!? I wish you much much luck!!!!! Stay in touch!
