About Us

My photo
After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

  1. Just wanted to say that I found your blog while searching for Dr. Austin (I'm thinking about switching to her for my 3rd IVF attempt). Congratulations! You've given me hope again.

    1. I wish you the best of luck! No one should have to battle infertility!! As far as Dr. Austin... she is SUPER nice. My only tip is if you email her, she'll usually takes a few days to get back to you and only answer some of your questions. Kinda frustrating but overall a great doctor! If you live near Cleveland, there is also Dr. Goldfarb at University Hospitals. I was actually just about to transfer to him when I got my long awaited BFP on my last batch of embryos!

  2. Mike can't be complaining about the boobs, Lady. Holy moly! :-) For all the complaining and worrying you're doing about the weight, you've got super-boobs. Woo hoo!

    1. lol thanks Mariah. Yeah, that "photoshoot" took literally over a 1/2 hour because I was so upset about all the photos. (The originals had no sweater.) I'm only 11 lbs from hitting 200 and I'm only 25 weeks in. :(
