After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

9w3d - Doppler!

I caved!!!!   I scoured my house for the location of the Doppler.   Finally found it.   Battery was dead.   New battery.   Put the gel on.    Headphones in.   Turned on.  Listened around for 2 or 3 minutes then found a heartbeat!   Listened to the beautiful sound for only 10 seconds.   Long enough for the Doppler to read 171.  Then I turned it off.   I already opened a giant can of worms.   Wasn't about to open a mammoth can of worms and look for a second different heartbeat.   That would be hard.   One amazing heartbeat was good enough for me.    Tomorrow is THE DAY.   Going to be praying alllllll day.   Going to try and get a sono early this coming week.   Originally planned on Monday but I'm slammed at work Monday.   I'm also slammed at work Tuesday.   And starting to get slammed on Wednesday.   I'll have to make room on one of those days.   I NEED to see my babies make it past last times hurdle.   💜💜🌈🌈🙏🙏
