After an 8 year battle with infertility and countless struggles, our family is finally complete. This blog chronicles the journey it took for us to start and build the family we always wanted. Background on the blog (started in 2012, just days before I found out the embryo transfer for our son worked).... I decided to start a blog after realizing I have only been able to make it through my TWW's (two week waits) with the help of Google and with the openness of other women suffering from infertility sharing their own stories and giving others hope. I have time and time again found my exact symptoms on other women's blogs and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness they provided me. I thought it was time to pay it forward and hopefully provide this same thing to other women on their own journeys.

Fert Report

14 eggs
7 mature
6 fertilized

I'm slightly bummed.  At least 85% of our mature fertilized this time.    We had 12 mature last time of which only 7 fertilized (58%).  So Mike and I's bits are combining nicer this time but I am still kinda bummed we have 1 less fertilized at this point than we did last time.

Update.... see the day 2 fert report but we got exciting news.  Our fert report now looks like this as 4 more matured in the lab over night...

Trigger update:  The trigger is registering pretty strongly in my system 3 days post trigger (bottom stick).

    When is transfer? The number mature do line up with your e2 so that isn't surprising, to have double that amount your e2 would have needed to be about double what it was. IF you stimmed again, they would just need to stim you slower with a lower dose. BUT you have a great number to work with! You could do 3 transfers of 2 each at this point, not too shabby girl! Hang in there and I am sending all kinds of positive vibes and grow baby grow your way!!!

      I agree with them stimming me so hard. Hopefully I won't have to have a WTF appointment!!! Transfer will be a 3 day transfer on Saturday.

    Hey Lauree, it's Nellswitbells over from 'fertile thought'. I'm eagerly following your journey here and wishing you nothing but WONDERFUL NEWS AND ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL BABY!!! You're encouraging me to try for #2!!!! Love it!
